SALEM, Va. (WDBJ) – The Mountain Valley Cluster Dog Showan AKC-sanctioned all-breed program, is set for Salem today.
The occasion will be at the Salem Civic Center beginning at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday and 8:00 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Dr. Erin Kerfoot, Roanoke Kennel Club Show Chairman, signs up with 7@four to speak about what we can anticipate at the program.
Around 900 dogs are gotten in, with more than 165 types represented, consisting of newly-recognized types such as the Barbets (sporting) and Azawakhs (hound).
This is among numerous programs throughout the year in which dogs contend and campaign for leading dog, culminating at the distinguished Westminster Kennel Club dog program in February.
A pre-Junior Showmanship class called the Pee Wee Special Attraction will occur around twelve noon Friday and Saturday. The Pee Wee class is tailored towards kids 5 to under 9 years of age. Each Pee Wee system includes the kid, his/her parent/guardian/responsible grownup, and the dog or a packed animal. This is not a competitive class, however rather an enjoyable, discovering experience for the kid and the grownup.
There will be a number of suppliers for viewers to browse and buy dog-related products (hair shampoo, treats, toys, grooming, healthcare, and so on.).
No un-entered dogs are permitted within.
