A person has been left in hospital after a canine attack close to to a main college in Midlothian.
Officers have been alerted to the incident which took place on Hillside Crescent North, Gorebridge, round 11.45am on Monday.
A person was taken to hospital for therapy following the attack.
Police confirmed a 38-year-old man has been charged in reference to the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: “Around 11.45am on Monday, April 29, 2024, officers received a report of a man having been injured by a dog on Hillside Crescent North, Gorebridge.
“The man was taken to hospital for treatment.
“A 38-year-old man has been charged in connection and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
