JAMESTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The Jamestown Volunteer Fire Department rescued a canine and person from a cliff at Beavertail National Park.
The incident occurred round 2 p.m. when a canine fell off the cliff and was unable to get again up. A person who tried to achieve the canine was additionally unable to stand up the cliff.
Firefighters mentioned they used a rope system and lowered two firefighters to rescue each the canine and person. Neither have been injured.
