Police within the Bronx shot and killed a canine because the canine mauled its proprietor to dying in a horrific attack early on Friday morning.
Law enforcement sources mentioned the grisly scene unfolded at about 3:09 a.m. on April 26 inside an condo at 1210 Simpson St. in Longwood.
Officers from the 42nd Precinct rushed to the situation after receiving a 911 name in regards to the incident.
Upon arriving on the location, authorities mentioned, they noticed the canine, a pit bull named Max, actively biting its proprietor, a 41-year-old man, within the neck and leg.
