‘Good Morning America’ back in Cleveland to put spotlight on Happy Dog, other specialized food suppliers at Progressive Field

CLEVELAND, Ohio – “Good Morning America’s” introduced its “7th Inning Snacks” function from Progressive Field Monday early morning, July 24. For the section, Guardians mascot Slider sign up with Chief Meteorologist and Managing Editor of the Climate Unit Ginger Zee and previous Guardians 2nd baseman Carlos Baerga to test specialized hot dogs from the Happy Dog concession at the baseball park.

Happy Dog, which has actually been at Progressive Field considering that 2016, was among 4 food suppliers highlighted throughout the program. The other 3 were Melt Bar and Grilled, Loaded Nachos and Dante Inferno.

The cups got support and cheering from more than a lots gamers in Cleveland’s B-Buzz Baseball League, led by Wendell Fields.

While the young gamers collected round, striving to not touch the vibrant food on the table, Zee talked to Baerga.

“I love hot dogs. If I come to a ballpark and do not have a hot dog, I feel like I am not here,” he shared. Baerga was very first to blindly pick his dog – The Wild Thing.

Zee, who brought her kid Adrian, 8, to the broadcast selected the Slider dog to show Adrian.

“The mac n cheese is pronounced,” revealed Zee prior to handing the dog to Adrian. He quickly took a couple of sample bites and smiled.

After another bite or more, Baerga informed the audience, “I want to invite everyone to our ballpark, we have the best food and the best entertainment … and we are going to the playoffs.”

“7th Inning Snacks” will relay from a various city’s arena throughout the week. Cleveland will be followed by

  • Tropicana Field Stadium in St. Petersburg, Fla.
  • Target Field Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn.
  • Global Life Field Stadium in Arlington Texas
  • Coors Field Stadium in Denver, Colo.
  • Citi Field in Queens, NY
