GMB star ravaged as precious dog passes away minutes prior to appearing on ITV reveal

ITV’s Good Morning Britain star Sean Fletcher shared his sorrow on social networks after the death of his precious family pet dog Meg, with co-star Susanna Reid among the lots of to use their acknowledgements

Good Morning Britain speaker Sean Fletcher has actually been left ravaged over the death of his precious dog. The lovable pooch unfortunately passed away after being struck by a car outside the family’s home. The 49-year-old television speaker – who shares 2 kids with his Welsh tv manufacturer and director Luned Tonderai – shared the sad news on Instagram and commemorated the family’s dog called Meg.

Taking to his page, Fletcher composed: “I am heartbroken. My lovely dog #Meg got out of our house, we think chasing a fox. She was hit by a car and died. We are all totally devastated. She had been moved from the side of the road and placed by a tree with a small blanket covering her. Thanks to the person who did that. I don’t know who you are but you need to know that what you did made it easier for my wife and children when they found her.”

Sean provided GMB soon after learning about the heartbreaking news, which he referred to as among the “most difficult” things he has actually ever needed to do. He then went on to share his fond memories with Meg with his fans. He composed: “I invested a lot time with Meg as I work from home a lot. She typically sat together with me or on my feet when I worked.

“She was so caring and was constantly up for a cuddle, or a cwtch as we state in welsh. She had that ‘animal ability’ to intuitively understand when individuals were down and after that extravagant them with love. Meg and I invested a lot time in regional parks walking and playing bring with a ball and thrower. It seemed like we were a group. We invested hours and hours together in training sessions. She was 2-years-old so it looked like we’d simply make it through the puppy phase and were actually starting to comprehend each other.”

On his social networks page, the speaker and papa thanked the program’s group and his fans for supporting him through his sorrow, penning: “So being away with work when she passed away was so so tough. I can’t inform you how tough it’s been. I had a live program to do that night and it was among the most difficult things I’ve needed to perform in my profession.

“Thanks to my friends and colleagues @coastandcountryitv @itvwales @ruthfromthetelly @alex_c_hartley1 @riddsusan @elinllyr @hannaht.itv @jamesharriesmultimedia @kelseyredmore, Brian Ullah, @fiona.francis1 and everyone else (sorry if I haven’t mentioned you) for being so supportive. Your kindness will be remembered. So, from afar I watched on facetime as my family buried her in our garden. Meg was a beautiful dog. She had a fantastic character. She was a massive part of our family. She has left a hole in our lives. We are all so upset. And I will never forget you Meg.”

Fletcher was flooded with messages of compassion from his coworkers. GMB speaker Charlotte Hawkins composed: “Oh no Sean so sad to hear that. Heartbreaking for you all. What a gorgeous dog she was. Sending loads of love to you all xx.” Susanna Reid composed: “I am so so sorry Sean – what a stunning dog she was and what an agonizing loss.” Ben Shephard composed: “Sean I’m so so sorry to (hear) this- sending big love to you all”.
