ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Summer temperature levels suggest overcrowding for lots of city Atlanta shelters. Shelters depend on rescue partners to help look after pups, both companies depend on fosters, like Rusty Walton.

Walton has actually been cultivating animals for more than twenty years.

“I usually take in dogs that need some rehabilitation, that other people are not…able to handle,” said Walton, who is a professional photographer and artist.
