MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A household is displaced following a kitchen hearth at a home in McFarland Wednesday.
According to Fire Chief Chris Dennis from the McFarland Fire Department, crews responded round 7:30 p.m. to the 5900 block of Smith Ridge Road.
Firefighters say the hearth left vital injury to the kitchen.
The hearth was rapidly put out and everybody was in a position to evacuate safely.
No one was harm. A canine was rescued from the hearth.
The City of Madison Fire Department was amongst a number of companies that helped with the hearth.
