Dog owners from throughout the area brought their four-legged buddies to the popular occasion at Farmer Palmers on Sunday, July 24.
Different types were showcased, with a ‘Best in Show’, ‘Best Puppy in Show’, and ‘Best Veteran in Show’ all crowned by the end of the day.
The occasion had actually been arranged by a long-running volunteer group of dog enthusiasts – Dorset County Canine Society.
Committee members and volunteers had actually worked relentlessly to place on the program, operating in the rain to arrange schedules, trade stands and drinks.
Gail Marshall, a member of Dorset County Canine Society, informed the Daily Echo: “No one makes money for their work; not the committee members, not the judges, not the stewards, not the volunteer assistants.
“Everyone on the committee works hard throughout the year in order to ensure everything is in place on the day of the show.”
