Donations have actually flooded an Ohio animal shelter after it took in over 80 dogs rescued recently from what private investigators referred to as “the most dreadful conditions”.

“We can’t keep our front workplace clear,” said Megan Poffenbarger, of the Animal Friends Humane Society.

The dogs were rescued from another shelter where a minimum of 30 dead dogs remained in fridges and freezers.

Others were found in cages filled with urine and faeces.
