A Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputy shot and killed a dog Thursday early morning as it was actively biting a man.
According to an LCSO press release, the occurrence took place around 11:30 a.m. in the location of Lincoln Avenue and First Street in north Fort Collins.
The deputy was driving through the location when he saw a man dealing with a big dog near Buckingham Park. As he got more detailed, he saw that the dog was actively biting the man, who was not able to leave, the release said.
