Syracuse, N.Y. — A man has actually been charged with eliminating a dog in Syracuse by stabbing her with a knife in the neck, authorities said.
Thomas Hemmingway, was charged with exacerbated animal cruelty, the Syracuse Police Department reported on Facebook Monday.
Around 8:25 p.m. July 26, officers reacted to the 900 block of South Geddes Street for a hurt animal problem, authorities said. On scene, officers discovered a black and white female pitbull with a stab injury to the neck.
Officers said they put the dog in the back of a patrol vehicle and took her to the Veterinary Medical Center of CNY. The dog later on passed away, they said.
