SULTAN, Wash. — A 44-year-old man remains in the health center after he was shot by Snohomish County deputies Sunday night.
Deputies were contacted us to a home near the crossway of Second Street and Cedar Avenue in Sultan for reports of a man with a knife.
When deputies showed up, there was an argument in development in between the suspect and another man. Deputies informed the suspect to stop and drop the knife, however he didn’t follow their directions.
A battle then started and the suspect was shot. His injury was not dangerous.
During the battle, a dog came out of the suspect’s house and was likewise shot by deputies. The injured animal then returned into your house and later on passed away.
Deputies dealt with the suspect for his gunshot injury up until medics showed up and took him to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett.
Detectives with the Snohomish County Multiple Agency Response Team (CLEVER) are examining.
