Carlstadt police are asking the general public for assist discovering data after an emaciated canine was discovered lifeless in a crate earlier this week.

Two cops, together with Bergen County Animal Control Officer Veronica Scotti, responded to an industrial park on Commerce Boulevard within the borough for a report of a lifeless male canine shortly after 11 a.m. Monday, Chief Thomas Cox stated in a press launch.

After investigating, the officers discovered a small, brown canine that was “visibly malnourished” in a crate, the discharge said. The animal seemed to be a boxer or combined breed and didn’t have any identifiable tags or microchips.

Police checked the encircling space for any video footage or different proof revealing the id of these concerned however had been unsuccessful.
