A 41-year-old man died after being mauled by his pit bull inside his Bronx condominium on Friday, authorities say.
Officers from the New York Police Department arrived at an condominium round 3:09 a.m. on Friday after receiving a name a couple of canine biting its proprietor, police advised USA TODAY in a press release Sunday.
The police division didn’t establish the sufferer. The assertion from police stated that EMS took the sufferer to Saint Barnabas Hospital, the place he was pronounced lifeless.
Officers on the scene, who fatally shot the canine after the attack, have been transported to an area hospital for analysis. The investigation is ongoing, police say.
