A body has actually been found throughout the look for a missing Scots female who was last seen walking her dogs.

The discovery was made near Burnfoot in Hawick, Scottish Borders, at around 2pm on Wednesday, August 2. Formal recognition is still to occur, nevertheless the family of missing out on Jacqueline Trimby have actually been notified.




Trimby, 55, was reported missing on Tuesday, August 1, and was last spotted walking her dogs on Chay Blyth Place in the Borders town. It’s thought she left her house later on that night and didn’t return.

Officers from Police Scotland state there are no suspicious scenarios surrounding the death.

A representative for the force said: “Around 2pm on Wednesday, August 2, the body of a lady was discovered near Burnfoot, Hawick. Although the female has yet to be officially determined, the family of Jacqueline Trimby, missing out on from Hawick because the other day, has actually been notified.

“There are no suspicious scenarios surrounding the death and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
