CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — Was it a case of roadway rage?
The Cheatham County Sheriff is increasing patrols Monday after somebody shot a marble into a car, eliminating a lady’s buddy — her dog called Joey.
“He went all over I went. did whatever I did,” Becky Ingle said. “He wasn’t simply a dog. He was my buddy.”
Joey constantly beinged in his normal area in the car together with her.
“Joey was right here. He healthy best right here,” she said pointing inside her car.
This previous Wednesday the 2 were driving along Thomasville Road in Cheatham County when an approaching white pick-up swerved towards their car and somebody shot a marble — perhaps from a paintball weapon — through the open window. The marble missed out on Ingle, however hit Joey straight in the back of the head, which killed him.
“He was my buddy. Both my siblings passed away just recently, and Joey was the very first thing I spoke to and the last thing I spoke to every day,” Ingle said.
