Footage appears to reveal a boy tossing a cat off a quarry ledge as it is delegated drop numerous feet into the water listed below.
The boy seems holding the black and white cat in one hand prior to tossing it over the ledge and enjoying as it sprinkles into the water.
He can be heard stating “I’m sorry” prior to tossing the animal.
Meanwhile, a 2nd child is seen enjoying on in the background and the individual recording can be heard laughing.

The video has seen a substantial reaction online, with someone tweeting in reaction to the video: “Why would [you] ever do that?”
Another individual said: “Absolutely revolting makes me feel ill.”
A 3rd individual included: “Disgrace.”
Lancashire Police reacted to the clip distributing, stating: “Thanks for flagging. We know and we’re checking out the event and where it took place.”
A representative for the force said: “We know a video which has actually been published on social networks which appears to reveal an act of cruelty to a cat in the Carnforth location.
“This is a matter which we are examining – we are developing the specific situations and where it took place.
“Anyone with info is asked to call 101, pricing quote log 1803 of July 10, 2023.”
It is uncertain whether the animal made it through, with some audiences hypothesizing the animal might have been dead prior to he tossed it.
