Ongoing sewage issues in a village have compelled one resident to depend on utilizing a commode full of cat litter, a council assembly was advised.
People dwelling in Grimston, close to King’s Lynn, Norfolk, have struggled for months with blocked bathrooms and sewage of their properties, they mentioned.
During a gathering organised by Grimston Parish Council on 8 April, an 87-year-old lady shared how she was unable to make use of her rest room as a result of it was so backed up, forcing her to make use of a commode.
An Anglian Water spokesperson mentioned the difficulty was a part of a broader flooding downside and it will work with different authorities to place a plan in place for the village to “handle these points”.
