The director for among the not-for-profit companies that gets GPET funds from the City of Sheridan, supplied an update on the firm at today’s Sheridan City Council conference. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the information.
Second Chance Sheridan Cat Rescue Executive Director Rachel Kristiansen, throughout her update to the Council and Mayor Rich Bridger, said the not-for-profit is succeeding in spite of handling particular rate boosts.
Kristiansen said in the previous 12 months they’ve embraced out 305 cats and taken in 345.
Kristiansen said of the roaming cats they received in the in 2015, 31 percent originated from within the City limitations while the rest originated from within the County. The City Council, at their March 6 business conference, authorized designating $60,000 of GPET funds to Second Chance Sheridan Cat Rescue.
