ROANOKE, Va. – Roanoke is welcoming its first cat cafe — it’s referred to as the Kitty City Cat Cafe.
Owners invite you to come back in and have a snack, drink, and possibly some cuddles.
The cafe is situated inside the Blue Ridge Indie Market on Salem Avenue.
The cats are at present up for adoption by way of Angels of Assisi, so when you see one you want you’ll be able to take it home with you.
The cafe’s aim is to provide the cats a strategy to socialize and get more healthy as they put together for his or her new houses.
“I would love to see cat cafes become so common that there are no cats in shelters anywhere, that all of them are living really good lives out in comfortable spaces where they can be socialized and loved on and get exercise and fresh air,” proprietor L.S. Ackerman stated.
Reservations are required to go to. For extra info, go to their Facebook web page.
