A heartwarming video that captures the ‘coparenting’ taking place between two feminine cats, one being a first-time mother, has led to an outpouring of emotion on-line.
The two felines appeared in a social media video from three days in the past that documented how they shared the workload created by the new child kittens.
Viewers watched as Cheeto the feminine cat, who had had a litter of kittens just lately, assisted first-time mother Mellow earlier than and after her kittens have been born.
Cheeto was filmed supporting her throughout labor, carrying her kittens round after they have been born; ‘babysitting’ them whereas they slept; and comforting them by licking them gently—a standard signal of affection within the animal world.
“When Mellow went into labor, Cheeto knew she wanted to assist,” the cat’s proprietor stated.
