A blind kitten discovered dumped behind a skip in Cyprus and rescued by a Scots couple has received a worldwide pet competitors with half 1,000,000 votes.

Haggis, the 5 12 months old feline, was discovered as a tiny kitten at dying’s door and needed to have his eyes eliminated on account of an an infection.




John and Laura Watson, from Glasgow, adopted the stray and paid £1300 to convey him home to Scotland.

The couple entered him into a web based pet competitors referred to as KingPet on Facebook and have been shocked to seek out he had placed first in each the UK and globally – with almost half 1,000,000 votes.

Laura, 57, and John, 55, stated: “We’re as proud as punch with him successful the titles.

“We’ve watched and nurtured all of our rescue cats to full well being and Haggis is so particular – he is a wee fighter who deserves to be world champion.”

Haggis has been awarded a particular certificates for his win and John and Laura predict to obtain £2,159 in prize money.

John and Laura have been first launched to Haggis in 2019 when he was noticed by an animal rescue employee and pal of the couple behind a skip in Larnaca.
