A BLIND cat is trying to finish 100 miles so as to elevate funds for a rescue charity.

Mr Picklerick is Cat Watch Wiltshire’s mascot and is presently taking over the problem of walking 100 miles in March, alongside volunteers.

The charity is now requesting for assist together with his problem and asks for volunteers to assist with their ‘rideathon’ so as to add extra miles to Mr Picklerick’s tally.

Mr Picklerick’s actions are tracked through the Tractive app, which shows his heatmap. Updates are supplied on Cat Watch Wilthsire’s Facebook web page.

A spokesperson for Cat Watch Wiltshire mentioned: “He’s doing effectively however we’re asking for individuals to return and do some miles on our train bike so as to add to his complete.”

The ‘rideathon’ will probably be held on the shelter, in Lynchets Road, Amesbury, on Saturday, March 23 from 10am to 4pm.

Volunteers are inspired to take part by using the train bikes present, and rack up as many miles as they’ll.

The spokesperson added: “We would love for as many individuals to return alongside as attainable, we can schedule activates the bike if I do know who’s coming and we will go stay from social as you’ve gotten your activate the bike to be able to share it by yourself pages.

“Even when you can’t cycle, it could be good to have some help and likewise if we will have some donation collectors for passers-by.”
