Because dogs are the perfect folks, Black Husky is internet hosting an occasion supporting a no-kill cat shelter in early April.
On Saturday, April 6, Riverwest’s Black Husky Brewing, 909 E. Locust St., hosts Cat Mom – The Revenge, an occasion celebrating the discharge of Cat Mom Triple IPA, introduced out of retirement to boost funds for Happy Endings No Kill Cat Shelter.
The large beer is 10.2 % ABV with 60 IBU, due to the Solero hops.
Cat Mom can be available on faucet and in 16-ounce four-pack cans.
“Happy Endings No Kill Cat Shetler cats are taking over Black Husky Brewing,” says co-owner Toni Eichinger.
“They have hijacked the brewery and have thrown glitter everywhere!”
In addition to cat merchandise on the market by Happy Endings, there can be a door prize for the perfect cat costume, faffle baskets that embrace Brewers field tickets, cat, canine, espresso, yoga, cooking, health, gardening and wonder merchandise themed baskets, and an look by Mr.P’s Grilled Cheese to maintain you fed.
The occasion runs from 1 to five p.m. and all proceeds will profit the shelter.
“We hosted one (of these events) for them pre-Covid,” says Eichinger, “and it was a ton of fun.”
