A White-tailed Eagle from the Irish reintroduction programme has been shot in Co Roscommon.
The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) Ireland is investigating the invention of the lifeless chook – a two-year-old feminine – which was discovered close to Cranberry Lough. The NPWS confirmed the chook was shot and is awaiting the outcomes of forensic assessments for extra data.
