The Sedona International Film Festival reveals acclaimed recording artist Arvel Bird will be performing his ‘Celtic Indian’ show reside on Sunday, Aug. 6 at 3 p.m. at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. He is returning by popular need after an offered out program in July.

Classically trained as a violinist, Arvel’s show, structures and efficiencies are a confluence of designs from Celtic, bluegrass and his initial Native American folk and Celtic rock orchestrations.
As he worked to establish his own music design and build a big following, Arvel went any place the music called him, which led him far from classical and towards Bluegrass, Appalachian, Folk and Celtic.
During his years in the Midwest, Arvel won the Indiana State Fiddle Contest 4 times while still improving a range of efficiency designs.
From 1986 to 2000 Arvel visited with Glen Campbell, Loretta Lynn, Tom T. Hall, Ray Price, Louise Mandrell, and Clay Walker.

One of his most treasured is for his classical recording, Tribal Music Suite: Journey of a Paiute, a Celtic and Native American concerto for violin and Native American flute, that made him Best Instrumental Album and Best Producer/Engineer, at the Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards.
