Piers Morgan has given his take on the new Twitter logo after owner Elon Musk axed the infamous blue bird from the firm’s sign.

Former Good Morning Britain host Morgan – famed for his questionable tirades and arguments on the social networking platform – shared his viewpoint on the upgrade from a shape of a bird to an edgy and futuristic X.

Talking to Fox News on the Fox And Friends sector Morgan confessed sensation no regret at seeing the back of the internationally recognisable art work as Musk reveals his latest modification to the business.

The mystery tweeter also targeted Ed Sheeran, branding him a “ginger f***er” in the swiftly deleted messages.

There were also multiple uses of offensive slurs during the hour-long tirade on the account, with Morgan’s name changed multiple times.

At the time followers encouraged the hacker to share Morgan’s private DMs, but they refused, saying they had found “nothing interesting”.

The change at Twitter HQ is the latest decision to raise eyebrows since Musk took control of the company, with his decision to axe the Twitter Verified feature in favour of the Twitter Blue subscription service also causing controversy amongst users of the app.

Celebrities and public figures found themselves stripped of the coveted blue tick, which was previously only available to users who were deemed at risk of being imitated by fraudsters.

The tick is now available to anyone willing to pay the monthly subscription fee as part of Musk’s drive to make the business more successful.
