We all have meetings to rush off to, loved ones to see or other flights to catch, so try to deplane with grace and efficiency to make the process a little nicer for everyone.”

Consideration for fellow travelers, says travel representative Hans Mast, must be offered at all times.

“It is important to remember that etiquette on an aircraft extends beyond behaviors observed during the flight itself,” Mast informed In The Know by Yahoo through email. “Respect for fellow passengers should be maintained throughout the entire experience, including during boarding and deplaning. Cutting in front of others not only disregards the basic principles of courtesy and consideration for fellow travelers but also creates unnecessary tension and can lead to potential conflicts.”
