Oregon Dog Rescue strikes to new location in John’s Landing

Oregon Dog Rescue is making a major leap ahead by relocating to a bigger facility in The Johns Landing Neighborhood, as KPTV reviews. They have been working from a 3,000 sq. ft. area in Tualatin, ranging from Founder Debra Bowen’s storage. However, because of the rising demand for his or her providers, their new facility in Portland has 13,000 sq. ft. of area.

Bowen mirrored on the rescue’s amazing journey. She stated, “All the blood, sweat, and tears, and scary nights, and just not being sure we can do it but then when I look at it, it’s here.”

While the Tualatin web site accommodated solely 65 dogs, the brand new $1 million facility boasts the capability to deal with at the least 100 dogs. Thus, the brand new place offers ample area for enrichment actions.

In addition, the building initially was a doggy day care center. It needed to endure renovations to fulfill the rescue’s wants. The facility now features a puppy nursery, meet-and-greet rooms, bigger play areas, and an on-site veterinary clinic, enhancing the dogs’ total high quality of life.

Bowen defined, “It’s always the dogs first. It’s helping each dog be the best and getting it to a place where it can be in a home. That is the groundwork for everything.” Continuing, she added, “I only have all our supporters to thank for it … there’s no way we can do this without the huge amount of community support.”

The grand opening of the brand new Oregon Dog Rescue is scheduled for Friday, March nineteenth.
