Local animal rescue nonprofits reiterate want for assets and funding – The Journal

“I have a dog and a cat myself. And it made me think, if something happened to me, I wish somebody would feed my animals and take care of them,” Mathis mentioned.

Mathis, a 77-year-old widow, mentioned she fed the cats till about three weeks in the past, when she determined she would want assist to handle them.

Mathis mentioned she contacted Pamela Imm, the brand new animal management officer on the Cortez Police Department, and Marion Rohman at For Pets’ Sake.
