“Gentle however bouncy” Bonnie, a one-year-old lurcher, is boarding with Norfolk Greyhound Rescue while she waits for a caring family.
Bonnie concerned the rescue centre from Ireland just 2 weeks with a “hacked off” tail, leaving her with a “small stump”.
As well as being good with other dogs, she is likewise cat-friendly, cage trained and can be release a lead.
The rescue centre says Bonnie is exceptionally caring, enjoys her human beings and is extremely excited to please – making her a perfect training partner.
A spokesperson for Norfolk Greyhound Rescue said: “Because she is a young dog, her old family didn’t listen and let Bonnie enter and take control of.

“They didn’t set borders for her and as such she capitalized.”
But with some behavioural training, the Norfolk Greyhound Rescue feels Bonnie would make an extremely caring and faithful animal.
