Russia ‘will react’ to Ukrainian ‘terrorist attacks’ after Black Sea drone strikes
Russia will react following what it calls a “terrorist attack on a civilian ship” in the Kerch Strait and penalize those accountable, the defence ministry says.
This follows a vessel, recognized as a Sig tanker by Russian media, was struck by a drone attack around 17 miles (27km) south of the Kerch Bridge, which links occupied Crimea and Russia, last night.
Ukraine’s security service declared obligation for the attack, with a sea drone, filled with 450 kgs (992 pounds) of TNT, being utilized for the attack, according to an authorities.
After condemning the attack, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the defence ministry, said that Russia “will react” to the attack.
“There can be no reason for such barbaric
actions, they will not go unanswered and their authors and
criminals will undoubtedly be penalized,” she said.
