CARDSTON, AB – Construction has actually started on a brand-new healing neighborhood in southern Alberta.
Alberta’s federal government is partnering with the Blood Tribe to build the Blood Tribe Recovery Community. Officials began on the center on July 19.
The province is investing $30 million to build the 75-bed centre, which is the very first Indigenous-led healing neighborhood. The website will be run by the Blood Tribe Department of Health, and is among 11 brand-new healing neighborhoods pertaining to the province.
