Universal Destinations & Experiences has actually revealed that Molly Murphy will be the next president of Universal Creative. She will take control of the function on August 14.
Murphy changes Mike Hightower, among a number of executives who took an early retirement last December.

Molly signs up with Universal from Gensler, a worldwide architecture, style and preparation company where she led international and technical groups and provided acclaimed brand name and style methods for customers in the travel and hospitality, leisure and cruise line markets. Most just recently, she was Principal and Co-Managing Director of Gensler New York, where she co-founded Gensler’s Digital Experience Design practice, which utilizes interactive and visualization innovations and specialized software to boost physical areas and develop immersive experiences. Her groups’ work can be seen all over the world and significantly at Las Vegas’ ARIA Campus, a $9B home entertainment, hospitality and retail district and the world’s biggest LEED-certified school at its opening.

As President, Molly will establish and lead the long-lasting vision and method of Universal Creative while supervising day-to-day operations, innovative advancement and job shipment internationally. In addition, she will work together with leaders throughout the organization to speed up shipment of advanced innovative that places our Destinations as the leader in amusement park destinations, immersive home entertainment experiences and next generation offerings.

Molly is an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects and holds a Master of Architecture and MBA from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
