Rail providers have been disrupted in London this night after a reported knife attack on a practice.
Disturbing video footage shared on social media confirmed a person in a hood wielding a knife whereas lunging at a person in a seat. Other passengers are seen shouting just some rows away because the attack performs out.
Southeastern railways mentioned providers between Shortlands and Victoria by way of Herne Hill are at present being disrupted as a result of police response.
Police mentioned one man was left significantly injured with stab wounds following the assault, which took place shortly after two males boarded the practice at Shortlands railway station. No arrests have but been made.

Witnesses have been requested to return ahead. A press release from the British Transport Police learn: “Detectives are interesting for witnesses to return ahead after a person was significantly injured at Beckenham Junction in the present day.
“At round 3.56pm in the present day (27 March), we obtained experiences of two males combating whereas getting into a practice at Shortlands (railway station). A person sustained severe injures in line with being stabbed.
“Officers attended, alongside colleagues from the Metropolitan Police Service and the London Ambulance Service, and the sufferer was taken to hospital with life-threatening accidents. Enquiries are ongoing and there have been no arrests to date. British Transport Police are interesting to anybody who witnessed the incident to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 397 of 27/03/2024. Passengers meaning to journey from Beckenham Junction to London have been suggested by Southeastern railways to take a practice to Shortlands and alter there. Anyone travelling from stations by way of Bromley South to Beckenham Jn has in the meantime been instructed to journey to Kent House and alter there. Lines had been reopened at round 6.50pm, although National Rail warned that trains working between Beckenham Junction and Birkbeck should still be cancelled or revised at brief discover.
