Australia’s making ready for a go to by Chinese Premier Li Qiang, the nation’s second-most senior chief, in an indication that bettering relations between Canberra and Beijing weren’t upended by recent setbacks. “The prime minister looks forward to welcoming Premier Li to Australia. I’m pleased that this is on track and we agreed on work to prepare for that meeting,” Foreign Minister Penny Wong advised reporters Wednesday after assembly her Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Canberra. Wang is headed for Sydney at present.
