RALEIGH, N.C. — A canine died Thursday in a Raleigh home fireplace.
The fireplace was reported earlier than 10:30 a.m. within the 5600 block of Sherrif Place West in Raleigh.
Raleigh firefighters stated the reason for the fireplace was not climate associated, however sturdy winds helped the fireplace unfold shortly all through the home.
According to the Raleigh Fire Department, a canine died within the fireplace. No people had been injured.
The proprietor bought the canine out and observed her cat operating again into the home. When she went inside to rescue her cat, the canine adopted her again inside, firefighters stated.
Firefighters on scene tried to revive the canine however had been unsuccessful.
