ANDERSON, Calif. —
The Haven Humane Society workers in Anderson is providing spaying and neutering companies for group cats.
The nonprofit hosts “Feral Fiesta Days,” throughout which their crew spays or neuters feral cats each final Thursday of the month.
Haven Humane Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kristin Campbell informed us Shasta County has a excessive variety of feral cats, and the group’s involvement within the recurring occasion helps management the native feral inhabitants.
“It’s not just a one-person problem; it’s a community problem,” Campbell stated of feral cat overpopulation. “So, Shasta County’s a large county, and it takes everybody to help with this issue. We can’t do it by ourselves.”

Community members should carry cats in a wire cat lure. The Haven Humane crew will sterilize as much as 50 cats every Feral Fiesta Day.
It prices $45 to sterilize every cat, with a five-cat-per-household restrict. Vouchers might also be available to decrease the cost.
