Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day – cats included! Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous sponsor, Humane Pennsylvania is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a special reduced–fee cat adoption event. From Friday, March 15 to Sunday, March 17, Humane Pennsylvania is allowing community members to adopt shelter cats six months and older for just $3.17 at the Berks and Lancaster County adoption centers.
Aida May, Humane Pennsylvania Shelter Manager, expressed her excitement for the St. Catty’s Day adoption event, “Year after year, the St. Catty’s Day adoption weekend has always brought some extra luck to the cats in our care who have been patiently waiting to find their forever families. We’re always very excited to help potential adopters find their perfect match!”
Adopters wishing to provide a loving home for shelter animals during this St. Catty’s Day event are encouraged to visit the shelter campuses or HumanePA.org. All potential adopters are required to go through Humane Pennsylvania’s adoption screening process (approval is not guaranteed). Some restrictions may apply.
