A canine was viciously mauled to dying by one other canine on the street on Wednesday night (November 29) as police proceed to hunt the proprietor.
Officers have been referred to as to the scene of the incident on Monks Lane, in Breightmet, Bolton at round 6.45pm, to reviews of a canine attacking one other.
The canine being attacked died, with the offending canine contained to be seized by officers. Police are conducting enquiries to trace down its proprietor. No different accidents have been reported.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police mentioned: “At 6:45pm this night (Wednesday 29 November) Greater Manchester Police have been referred to as to reviews of a canine attacking one other canine on Monks Lane, Bolton.
“Police attended the scene; one canine is deceased, and the offending canine has been contained and might be seized. No additional accidents have been reported at this stage. Enquiries are ongoing to determine the proprietor.”
