BIRD ISLAND
— Two people had been killed Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash south of Bird Island. The incident occurred round 9:51 a.m. Oct. 21 on the intersection of Renville County Roads 4 and 5, roughly six miles south of Bird Island in Norfolk Township.
Killed had been Dean Schroeder, 62, of Renville and Emily Didier, 22, of Lanesboro. A canine passenger in one of many autos, a 2011 Nissan Altima pushed by Didier, survived the crash with unknown or no obvious important accidents and was launched to relations, the press launch from the
Renville County Sheriff’s Office
reported.
According to the discharge, the Nissan Altima was touring eastbound on County Road 4 when it collided with a 1999 MACK 600 Tractor Truck, pushed by Schroeder, which had been touring southbound on County Road 5. Both autos got here to a cease off the roadway and had important harm.
The Sheriff’s Office and the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating the crash.
