TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Animal Welfare obtained a name from a Tulsa canine groomer who reported her co-worker hung and beat a canine named Atlas to loss of life.
TAW contacted Tulsa police who began an investigation into Jaimes Diego Angel. According to the court docket affidavit, a co-worker working near Angel stated she noticed him hanging and repeatedly punching Atlas the Golden Doodle after the canine defecated on the grooming desk. She stated it lasted a number of minutes till he stopped.
At that time, he allegedly lowered and raised the grooming desk choking the canine. She stated when Angel realized the canine was not respiratory then he and one other worker carried out CPR and took the canine to a close-by animal hospital. The canine couldn’t be revived.
Court data allege that the witness/co-worker talked to the grooming store proprietor, who then pulled the safety footage for overview. The affidavit says an worker with the safety firm described the video confirmed “a person murdering a canine.”
Angel informed police the canine’s grooming was going properly till the canine stopped respiratory on the desk. He stated that is when he put the canine on the ground and carried out CPR.
Investigators reviewed the tape as a part of their investigation. Angel is charged with felony animal cruelty expenses.
The Atlas’s physique is going through additional investigation with permission from the proprietor.
