Firefighters rescued a girl and a pet canine after they turned trapped in a home hearth.
Crews have been known as to the blaze at a property in Seven Acres Road, Weymouth, Dorset, at about 01:30 BST.
A person and two kids had already managed to flee earlier than firefighters arrived.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service stated the girl had managed to supply info “to direct firefighters straight to her”.
