The latest event happened on Saturday, when a snake(s) appeared two times throughout the match in between B-Love Kandy and Jaffna Kings.
In a viral video on social networks, a snake was seen horning in the field throughout Jaffna’s chase. The reptile was gradually crawling ahead when Kandy pacer Isuru Udana found it and got horrified. The pacer, who almost marked on the snake, was then seen making a fast escape. Lucky escape certainly.
Later, a snake was seen twitching to the electrical wires on the border line, terrifying cameramen there. The visuals on social networks have 2 cameramen viewing the snake from a safe range, leaving their work station uninhabited.
Chasing 179, Jaffna Kings were 140 for 5 in 17.1 overs versus B-Love Kandy with Shoaib Malik (41* off 27) and Thisara Perera (29* off 16) including a fifty-run stand when the snake made its 2nd look. Jaffna completed 8 runs brief in the end to lose the video game to Kandy.
It was not the very first time a snake has actually made its look throughout a LPL match at the location. During the 2nd video game of the season, on July 31, in between Galle Titans and Dambulla Aura, a snake was seen crawling on the field bringing a short stop to the match.
