DULUTH, MN. (Northern News Now) – A property owner and his animals are safe after a house fire early Saturday early morning triggered $80,000 in damages.
According to authorities, Saturday early morning the Duluth Fire Department reacted to a report of a house fire on East Locust Street.
The caller said that they might see flames originating from the basement.
Crews gotten here on the scene to discover a big quantity of fire originating from the front basement window.
The property owner informed authorities that he was the only individual in your house and he and his family pet cat were outdoors.
The fire was rapidly torn down and included to the basement level.
There were no injuries to report.
Damage approximates to the building and contents have to do with $80000.
The reason for the fire is under examination.
