MAZOMANIE, Wis. (WMTV/Gray News) – A mom in Wisconsin says her kid was seriously hurt by a dog while he was at a home daycare today.
Madison Roth informed WMTV that her 16-month-old kid Isaiah Ede was bitten so terribly by the dog that he needed surgical treatment at the healthcare facility with more surgical treatments anticipated in the future.
“It’s probably the most horrible thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life,” Roth said. “I saw my son’s face just mangled. His whole face was ripped, and he was screaming.”
Roth said she was contacted us to the home daycare Wednesday early morning about the scenario and delved into an ambulance with her infant.
Isaiah was hurried to American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison. She said he had surgical treatment and is presently doing OK. But she was fretted he may not make it through.
“I was scared,” she said. “There was blood everywhere.”
Roth said she began taking her kid to the home daycare, which is at a family friend’s house, about 6 months back. She said Whitney Hague runs the daycare out of her home which she formerly saw her 2 older children with no issues.
“She’s a wonderful lady,” Roth said. “She does activities with the kids, but this should have never happened. There should’ve been any dog left alone by him.”
Roth does not understand if Hague’s in-home daycare is credited through the state of Wisconsin.
After the occurrence, Hague said her issue has to do with the infant and his family.
According to Roth, county authorities informed her that the dog included has actually because been euthanized.
Animal services said they reacted that early morning to the home daycare concerning the dog bite and the owner of the dog has actually been complying with their continuous examination.
Roth said she desires other moms and dads to learn from this and not take their kids to a daycare with family pets.
“I just hope people recognize where their children are and who they’re around,” she said. “Anything could happen, especially when it comes to animals. I wouldn’t trust it.”
The Roth family began a GoFundMe to help spend for medical expenditures and other expenses.
