ANT McPartlin avoided 4 puppies from encountering a roadway when a dog walker collapsed in front of him, we can reveal.
The TV host ferreted out the loose animals, rounded them up and kept them securely far from approaching automobiles.
It took place as Saturday Night Takeaway host Ant, 47, took pleasure in a stroll and an ice-cream with other half Anne-Marie Corbett, 46, in Richmond Park, South West London.
At the time, Ant was walking his Maltipoos Milo and Bumble and chocolate labrador Hurley, which he shows ex-wife Lisa Armstrong.
They were close to the park’s Sheen Gate, where there is a stable circulation of traffic.
An observer said: “The minute the lady collapsed the dogs all ran in various instructions. Ant instantly sprang into action to round them up.
“He was a genuine hero as they might have quickly faced approaching automobiles.
“He returned them to the lady, inspected she was okay and assisted her to her feet like a real gent.
“He chatted to her before continuing his ramble. It’s clear Ant is an animal lover and wanted to help.”
Ant, who turned dog herder last Saturday, consented to share custody of Hurley with Lisa after their split.
During their divorce, he is said to have actually informed attorneys: “She can have anything — except the dog.”
