Shaquille O’Neal had only one thing on his mind after hearing that Doja Cat was forced to rush from the bathroom to accept her 2022 Grammy award. The singer was reportedly in the loo when her song with SZA, “Kiss Me More,” was awarded the Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

The 27-year-old rapper was even caught on video running from the bathroom to the stage:

Speaking on his podcast, “The Big Podcast with Shaq,” in April last year, O’Neal stated:

“She was in the bathroom and somebody told her she won an award, and she ran straight… Did she wash her hands?”

It is unlikely that Shaquille O’Neal will ever get an answer to his question, at least publicly. However, it was a big night for Doja Cat, as she won her first Grammy award.

She has been nominated for sixteen Grammys in her career, but the 2022 one currently stands as her only win at the award show. Five of her nominations are pending as she is nominated in several categories at the upcoming 2023 Grammy Awards.

Shaquille O’Neal recently shared his thoughts on Anthony Davis’ position and performance

Before being sidelined with a foot injury, Anthony Davis was performing at an MVP level. The LA Lakers star is averaging 27.4 points, 12.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.1 blocks per game while shooting 59.4% from the field.

While Davis has exclusively played the center position this season, Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal revealed that he considers the Lakers star a power forward. Speaking to Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports, the NBA Hall of Famer said:

“Anthony Davis is not a big man, he’s a power forward. Let’s just put combined big man and power forward, we can have this argument all day, every day. He’s playing great. Not being critical of him, I’m giving him the same information that Kareem [Abdul-Jabbar] gave me.”

O’Neal, who won three titles as a member of the Lakers, shared that he is hoping Davis can win his second title this season, adding:

“He went to LA the first year, did what he supposed to do. They won a championship and when you live in LA, that’s what we expect. We expect championships… Hopefully, they make the playoffs, and they make a run for it, but I’m an Anthony Davis fan and I will continue to stay on him.”

While the Lakers are 12th in the Western Conference and outside the postseason picture, they are only one game behind the 10th seed, which would guarantee them a spot in the play-in tournament. More importantly, they are just two games behind the sixth seed, which would allow them to bypass the play-in tournament altogether and make the postseason.

With Davis, Austin Reaves and Lonnie Walker IV all nearing a return to the lineup, it remains to be seen if they can go on a run and rise in the standings.
