CHELSEA, Vt. (WCAX) – A Vermont male on Wednesday pleaded innocent to animal abuse charges after video game wardens state incorrect care left among his pets dead and another in requirement of rehab.
Vermont Fish and Wildlife wardens state Justin MacAskill, 26, of Randolph, owned 2 German shepherds, Ace and Coon.
Wardens state the pets were not appropriately taken care of and were kept in a garage where the flooring was covered in dog feces and urine.
They likewise found Coon passed away from hunger and her remains were discovered on the residential or commercial property.
Ace was ultimately taken in by Potter’s Angels Rescue in Barre and rehabbed by Heather Bent.
